Client review portal
Updated: September 16, 2026
Your client wants to check the Spanish copy before it ships. They should not need an AZbox account, a tutorial, or to see that you use AZbox at all.
Open a project → Client review → Create link.
What you choose
- Client and the languages they review.
- Your brand: the name shown, a logo (an
httpsURL) and an accent colour. The page uses them; AZbox appears nowhere. - How long the link lasts, from 7 to 90 days. You can revoke it at any time.
The link is shown once, when you create it. AZbox stores only a fingerprint of it, the same way it stores API keys, so it cannot be shown again — create a new one instead.
What your client sees
A page with the source text and the translation side by side, per language, and two buttons: Approve or Request changes with a comment. They can filter to what is still pending, search, and approve everything on screen at once. It is in Spanish or English depending on their browser.
They cannot see anything but that project and those languages, and they cannot edit the translations.
What you get back
Each decision lands on the keyword, per language, and shows up in the dashboard’s keyword table: a green check for approved, an amber mark for changes requested with the comment. Your reviewer teammates can do the same from inside the dashboard.
An approval remembers the text it approved. If someone edits that translation afterwards, the approval is marked as stale and the string goes back to pending — which is the whole point of having the client approve it.
Your own domain
The portal is served from a neutral domain, with no AZbox in it and marked so search engines skip it. If you want it on a subdomain of yours (review.youragency.com), ask us: it needs a CNAME on your side and one setting on ours.
