Setup took me about 10 minutes, which was the main reason I chose AZbox.

I was managing translations in spreadsheets before. Now I push my ARB files and get translations back. Some translations need manual tweaks, but it saved me weeks of copy-pasting between files.

The file format support is what sold me — ARB, JSON, and XML all work.

We have an Android and iOS app with shared strings. Being able to upload both formats to one project and keep them in sync is genuinely useful. The UI is simple enough that our non-technical PM can review translations too.

Honestly, I picked AZbox because it was the cheapest option that actually worked.

Crowdin and Lokalise were overkill for our 800-string app. AZbox does what we need — manage keys, translate, download. Nothing more, nothing less. For a small team, that's exactly right.

We localized our Unity game into 8 languages using AZbox.

The category system helped us organize strings by game screen. Translation quality from the AI varies — some languages are great, others need a native speaker to polish. But as a starting point, it cut our localization time in half.

The API integration was straightforward — we had it running in our CI pipeline in an afternoon.

We pull translations automatically on every build. It's not the most feature-rich platform out there, but for our use case (12 languages, ~2000 strings) it does the job reliably.

What I appreciate most is that it doesn't try to do everything.

We tried Phrase and it was overwhelming for our small team. AZbox is focused — upload, translate, download. The learning curve was practically zero, which matters when you're moving fast.
